Surging popularity of new condominiums in Toronto

Auberge on the Park is ideally positioned to tap into the ongoing rise in popularity of new pre-build condos. Preconstruction condominiums became the go-to choice for many home-buyers, due to changes in preference towards vertical living — and the shortage of inventory for resale. Short commute time preference also factors in to the shift in preference to condo apartment homes.

Commuting nirvana?

One of the key reasons for the shift in preference to vertical living amongst prospective homeowners — not just first-time buyers — is to locate near transit and within short commute times of the workplace. Located in North York, close to the planned Eglinton LRT, Auberge on the Park is also a short hop to 401, Don Valley Parkway, Highway 404 and the Bayview Extension — almost all the critical arteries for commutes by car. Even in heavy traffic, the commute from North York to most workplaces is reasonable. It is very nearly commuting nirvana — at least in the context of the GTA’s current traffic realities.
